Most IFS practitioners have experienced the benefits of speaking for parts, but what about moving for parts? When we invite parts to embody, they become tangible. We deepen the Self-to-part relationships by inviting the parts to take up space, and to express themselves with movement. This 3-hour experiential, body-based workshop infuses guided yoga asana practices with the IFS healing process. Participants will flow through the IFS model using body movement. You’ll experience blending to unblend polarized parts, a collective unburdening ceremony to the elements, and restoring freedom and playfulness to the unburdened inner children.
Participants are asked to wear comfortable, loose clothing. Though yoga mats can offer support and comfort, they are not required. Stephanie will have several yoga mats available for use on a first-come-first-served basis. The movement portions of the workshop will include standing, sitting, walking/dancing through space, kneeling, and lying down on the ground. The option to observe in stillness and from Self-energy will always be given, as well as modifications of poses and movements to accommodate all levels and abilities.
