I’ll be hosting this upcoming workshop at
Blossom Yoga Studio later this month. For those of you who have questions about what it is that I do, and how I actually integrate yoga with counseling clients, this is your chance to find out why, how, and the results. This workshop is geared toward professionals, but there will be an experiential element. I find I can talk about yoga until I am blue in the face (and sometimes I do), but until someone actually experience these practices in her/his own body, it might not make sense. So, if you are a helping professional and you feel that you are missing some mind-body tools, you’ve been thinking of referring a client for therapeutic yoga but want to be sure it’s a good fit, or you are purely curious and would like to experience these practices in the interest of your own health and wellness, this workshop is for you.
Here are the details and registration information:

Have you ever thought that yoga might be beneficial for a client or for your own self-care? These and other yoga and mental health related questions are answered in a 3 hour informational and experiential session for licensed professionals and students. Walk away with helpful handouts that include resources and practices for personal and professional integration.
